It has taken me about three weeks to recover from the horror of what I thought was a TEFL certified course. TEFL Paris in Tournan-En-Brie is nothing but a money stealing company who subjected me personally to mental cruelty, verbal abuse, and just plain old torture. I am requesting a refund of the money that I paid, about $1700 US dollars, an ESL Certificate and a full blown investigation into this bogus company!! Below is just some of the information and details. I have been a teacher for the past sixteen years. I have instructed classes kindergarten through sixth grade meeting every challenge imaginable and providing education for the students. I have also taught adult level and evening classes. I am not a newcomer to teaching and presenting educational material in an orderly manner. I wanted you to be aware of the events and circumstances and treatment that I received as a teacher in training for my English Second Language certificate. Because of the undue stress I was subjected to, I needlessly lost ten pounds. Agnes was not available or present in Tournan Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday morning. She usually came over on Thursdays or Fridays for about two hours and then would drive herself to the Town Hall for our teaching lessons. She never walked with us nor did she offer to take us by car. Chaz also never once walked with us as he went in the car with Agnes. Teaching was every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The main house in Tournan was locked at all times, though Chaz had a key. He arrived by train each morning and was very late once, he did not inform any of us that he would be late. I was almost late once to class, almost because they shut the train down into Tournan from Paris and I had gone into Paris to meet with my one on one interview and record him.

500 words is not enough to describe how terrible this \"teaching course\" is. For one, they state that they are an actual certified course. \"Certifiable\" would be a better word to describe the director and her minion. My background: I have been a teacher for the past sixteen years. They change the rules as they move along, lie, don\'t direct. The experience, akin to a concentration camp. If you want to lose 10 pounds, go to a dietitian, if you want to obtain your ESL certificate, please look elsewhere, anywhere. Total waist of time, $9,000 in my case, no certificate (despite finishing the 150 required hours with a smile on my face). Lesson learned: never give your money or time to a company that lies, if they actually give certificates they aren\'t worth anything since there is no job market. Another promise, a job interview, lies! The worst part is how the director and the teacher are uncaring, unprepared, give strange recommendations like, \"have a drink or two before you teach tonight\"-REALLY, I am not kidding! Worst experience of my life!!! And English is the directors second language, the only language she speaks is \"show me the money!\" \"Show me my money back!!!\" Rip off!!!!
